Ashley Celestin biography

Ashley Casandra Celestin, is a graduate student in Global Development with a focus in International Agriculture and Rural Development at Cornell University. For her research capstone, Ashley conducted an analysis on the agricultural value chain in Haiti and linkages between small scale producers and market access.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business and Food production at SUNY Cobleskill, her most recent position was at the Hunts Point Produce market in New York, where she oversaw operations, sales, import coordination and warehouse management.

Her focus areas include sustainable agriculture production, agribusiness, distribution and value chain development. She is also interested in agricultural finance, food safety, and post-harvest processing.
