
Fousseini Traore biography
Dr. Fousseini Traore joined IFPRI as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Markets, Trade and Institutions Division of IFPRI in 2011. He is originally from Mali and received a Ph.D. in Agricultural economics from CERDI, University of Clermont Ferrand, France, in 2010. He also received a double M.A. in Development Economics and in Projects Appraisal from the University of Clermont-Ferrand.
He is now a Research Fellow based in the IFPRI West and Central Africa Office in Dakar, Senegal. His research interests include international trade, agricultural economics, commodity markets, and price transmission analysis. He is also engaged in capacity-building activities and in charge of the Technical Resources component (models and data) of the AGRODEP network.
