Jessica Ault biography

Jessica Ault is is an archivist and legislative researcher at the Research Center at the Export-Import Bank in Washington, DC. Previously, she was a contract food safety and nutrition metadata librarian at the National Agricultural Library (NAL) and a program and records manager for DC-area nonprofit, Better Markets.

Jessica earned her Masters in Library Sciences with a concentration in archives and digital curation from the University of Maryland’s iSchool in 2016. While in earning her MLS, she worked as a graduate assistant in the iSchool’s communications and development offices and had internships at the Department of Justice libraries and the Commodity Futures Trading  Commission’s Office of Legislative Affairs. She was also the president of the American Library Association Student Chapter at UMD. Before graduate school, Jessica worked as a legislative correspondent in the office of U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND).
