Jochen Dürr biography

Jochen Dürr is Senior Researcher at the Center for Development Research (ZEF) at the University of Bonn. His main research areas are rural development, value chains, and agricultural policies from a critical political economy perspective.

Prior to joining ZEF, he worked for the German Development Cooperation at the Federal University of Pará, Brazil and the Guatemalan Institute of Agrarian and Rural Studies (IDEAR).

Dürr received his Ph.D. in economics from the Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences at the University of Kassel.
