Nasra Gathoni biography

Nasra Gathoni is the Faculty of Health Sciences Librarian at the Aga Khan University, Nairobi. Her research interests include Information literacy, library policies development, evidence-based practice, collection development, and knowledge management, and she has been extensively involved in student training.

She is a past President (two terms) of the Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa (AHILA), and was recognized for her role in promoting access to health information under the Research4Life “Unsung Heroes” Award. She has presented at various local, regional, and international conferences.

She holds a MA in Information Science from the University of South Africa and is currently finishing an MBA.
