Stefan Einarson biography

Stefan Einarson is Director of Transnational Learning and Head of Information Technology in International Programs, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (IP-CALS) at Cornell University.

Stefan has more than twenty years of years of experience collaborating with international teams where technology, infrastructure, and data-sharing are key issues. He has extensive experience in distance-learning technologies and has been a cornerstone in helping setup PhD and Master’s training centers in agricultural sciences throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Stefan is currently the objective leader for Data Management for the Delivering Genetic Gain in Wheat (DGGW) program, which has more than 20 partners worldwide, and serves in a lead management role for the NextGen Cassava project.

Stefan holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Union College and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
